Happy (belated) Birthday, Nikki

Even though it's already December 7th, I'd like to wish my little girl Nikki a happy birthday. The idea for this painting is already a year old. I've been very busy lately, but I was able to finish this painting, albeit a little late, and I feel like nothing can defeat the power of love =]]] My drawing style has changed once again. I will continue to strive every day to do what I love. Regarding this idea, I really don't know how to draw backgrounds. Perhaps a white background would be better, but while sketching the colors, I decided to try a slightly more vibrant background. It didn't turn out quite as I had hoped. The big ribbon on Leonid's head? Since he's a birthday present, he has to have a really big ribbon, right?
